Tulane Athletics Announces 2020 Football Season Ticket Update

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane Athletics would like to thank its fans for their patience and support over the last few months during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the ongoing uncertainty surrounding intercollegiate athletics, the department continues to work on new ways to connect, support, and engage Green Wave fans. We thank all our fans for their continued loyalty as we work through this process.
As information continues to develop with the pandemic, Tulane Athletics, in accordance with city and state regulations, has made the decision that fans will not be allowed in the stands for the opening weekend of the season (September 3-6, 2020).
As the season progresses, the department will make a decision no later than 10 days prior to each home game, whether fans will be allowed in the stands. Tulane Athletics will continue to monitor local and state guidelines and have the most up to date information in regards to available fan size at Yulman Stadium.
To allow for this flexibility, season tickets will not be available for the 2020 football season. Should fans be allowed at any point this season, season ticket holders will have first right to purchase single game tickets based on priority point order and availability. Green Wave Club priority points will be refreshed on September 7, 2020.
With this decision, the Ticket Assurance Plan will be in effect and Green Wave season ticket holders can decide what to do with money previously paid for their 2020 season tickets.
Below is an outline of options for our ticket holders:
Green Wave patrons are encouraged to select Option 1 for all payments made towards season tickets and/or priority seating donations, as private support serves as a critical source of funding for Green Wave Athletics. By choosing to donate season ticket commitments back to the department, Tulane Athletics will be enabled to endure the effects and maintain the new protocols caused by the pandemic.
Season Ticket Holders are encouraged to call the Tulane Green Wave Ticket Office at 504-861-9283 to make their Ticket Assurance Plan decision.

- Options for ticket and parking payments:
- Transfer the balance to the Green Wave Club (GWC) as a 100 percent tax-deductible donation
- Receive 110 percent credit to your account for future ticket purchases
- Receive a full refund for the season
- Since your tickets may come with a requirement for a donation to the GWC, these are your options for reassignment of the gift
- Reassignment of GWC donation to a 100 percent tax-deductible donation
- Defer your gift as a credit to future GWC Priority Seating required donations
