Tulane Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Competition at the ITA Southern Regionals
Oct 17, 2021 | Men's Tennis
AUBURN, Ala. – The Tulane University men's tennis team concluded play in the ITA Southern Regionals Sunday.
The Green Wave had two players reach the round of 16 in the singles bracket, including Rafael de Alba who advanced to the quarterfinals before suffering a defeat. In doubles competition, the pairing of Fynn Kuenkler and Billy Suarez reached the final 16 before ultimately falling short of the quarterfinals.
"All in all, we had a pretty good week at regionals," head coach Mark Booras said. "We saw guys respond to all different kinds of adversity and after some tough losses which shows us a lot about their character. We look forward to putting in a hard week of practice and building on these results in our next tournament."
