MEMPHIS, TN – The Tulane men's tennis team was defeated 4-1 by No. 62 Memphis Friday evening in its first match of the weekend.
The Tigers improved to 10-10 this season, while Tulane fell to 6-9.
Alec Gaudin (6-4,6-3) recorded the Green Wave's lone point with a victory at No. 4 singles.
Memphis secured the doubles point with wins at Nos. 2 and 3 by scores of 6-3 and 6-1.
Tulane will finish the road trip Sunday against No. 43 Middle Tennessee at 12 p.m. The Blue Raiders are 17-7 overall.
