Tulane Takes Doubles Point But Drops 5-2 Decision at #43 Middle Tennessee

MURFREESBORO, TN – Tulane's men's tennis team jumped to an early lead by taking the doubles point but surrendered five of six singles matches to fall 5-2 at #43 Middle Tennessee on Sunday.
The Blue Raiders improved to 19-7 overall with the win, while the Green Wave dropped to 6-10.
The Olive and Blue was without Daniel Phillips, who regularly plays at No. 1 singles and doubles for the program.
Hady ElKordy and Asaf Friedler picked up a doubles win at No. 1, as did Piotr Andrzejewski and Alec Gaudin at No. 2.
Andrzejewski won his third consecutive singles match with a 7-5, 7-6 (4) win at No. 4.
