Brimingham, AL – Tulane's men's tennis team defeated UAB 4-3 Thursday afternoon at UAB Tennis Complex.
The Green Wave improve to 7-10 on the season, matching UAB's record.
The No. 35 nationally ranked doubles pair of Daniel Phillips and Lance Nisbet secured the first win, followed by Hady ElKordy and Asad Friedler, who clinched the doubles point for the Green Wave.
After UAB retired at the No. 1 singles position, Alec Gaudin and Piotr Andrzejewski secured the final two points for the Green Wave.
Tulane will return to action for its final match at Goldring Tennis Center, hosting No. 63 South Florida on Sunday at 1p.m. The Bulls are 9-13 on the season.
