Green Wave Drops 4–3 Match to Bulls

NEW ORLEANS – The South Florida men's tennis team, ranked No. 63 nationally, secured a 4-3 win after dropping the doubles point to Tulane on Sunday afternoon at Goldring Tennis Center.
The Bulls improved to 10-13 on the season, while Tulane fell to 7-11.
Alec Gaudin and doubles partner Piotr Andrzejewski won their match, 6-4, before Hady ElKordy and Asaf Friedler followed with a 7-5 victory to give the Green Wave the doubles point.
In singles play, Daniel Phillips won at the No. 1 position, 7-6 (7-1), 6-4. Alec Gaudin also picked up a win at the No. 3 spot, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.
Tulane will travel to Tulsa next week for the American Conference Championships. Matches will be played at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center from Thursday through Sunday. Seeds for the tournament will be announced Monday.
