
Swimming & Diving’s Titus to Compete in First Chance Meet

NEW ORLEANS — Tulane swimming's freshman Danielle Titus is set to compete in the First Chance Meet this Saturday in Houston, Texas.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Fans are able to watch the meet on the Houston Swimming & Diving Facebook page.Â
Titus will swim the 100-meter backstroke, 200-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle events.
The first-year Green Wave has recorded five first-place individual finishes in 2020-21.
In her first season Uptown, Titus has already left her mark in the Tulane record books, currently ranking fifth in the 100-yard backstroke (55.21), 10th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:00.80) and 13th as part of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished with a time of 1:43.37.
The Tulane swimming and diving team is back in action next Thursday as the Green Wave ready for postseason action in the American Athletic Conference Championship in Dallas, Texas.
