The Wave is Readies to Wash Up in Houston and Cincinnati this Week

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University volleyball team will travel to Texas and Ohio this week to take on the University of Houston (21-2, 12-0 AAC) and the University of Cincinnati (6-16, 4-8 AAC). Wednesday night's matchup will begin at 2:30 pm in the Fertitta Center, and Sunday's will see first serve at noon in the Fifth Third Arena.

THE MATCHUPS
- The last time Houston and Tulane matched up was Sep 21st, when the Wave dropped an intense five-set match to the Cougars (25-22, 9-25, 26-24, 25-18,15-8) in its first AAC match of the season. The Green Wave endured the same fate on Sep 23rd, when it suffered a tough four-set loss (26-28, 25-16, 24-26, 21-25) to Cincinnati. The Bearcats and the Cougars will face off against each other this week in Cincinnati on Friday, Nov 4.
PRESEASON RANKINGSÂ
- Tulane is currently ninth in the 2022 American Athletic Conference. While the two competitors this week are ranked first (Huston) and sixth (Cincinnati) respectively. Â
