Green Wave Competes in Pairs Championships Bracket Play

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Both Tulane University Beach Volleyball pairs began bracket play in the AVCA Fall Collegiate Beach Championships on Saturday. The two Green Wave duos each earned a pair of victories on the day competing in different brackets.

The Tulane tandem of Mollie Ebertin and Kendall Peters began the day playing in the Championship Bracket. The pair opened with a three-set win in the first round of the Championship Bracket. After dropping their second match in the bracket, Ebertin and Peters moved into the 17^th Bracket where they earned another victory in three sets.

Abby Jackson and Samantha Mehlman played in the 49^th bracket on Saturday. The duo had aa strong day of competition going 2-0 including a come from behind victory in three sets in their second match.

Up next, the two Green Wave pairs will finish their journey in Huntsville, Alabama, with the final rounds bracket play. Ebertin and Peters will play Jacinda Ramirez and Abbey Thorup from Loyola Marymount at 9 a.m. in the 17^th Bracket while Jackson and Mehlman will face Kaeli Crews and Hannah Mackenhausen from South Carolina in the 49^th Bracket at 9 a.m.
