
Women's Golf Finishes Tenth at Briars Creek Invitational

Johns Island, S.C. – The Tulane University women's golf team finished the Briars Creek Invitational tied for 11th with a team total of 300.
Campbell took the invite with a team total of 284.
Sandra Vazquez had the best finish for the Green Wave shooting nine-over par in the tournament to tied for 36th. Vazquez had a stellar first round shooting five bogeys and five birdies in the first round and had her placed tied for sixth at the end of the round.
Miriam Emmert and Cleo Liu both finished the tournament tied for 48th. In the final round of action, Liu shot three-over-par and Emmert shot four-over-par.
Carla Bernat was next on the scorecard for Tulane shooting 12-over in the invite. Bernat finished the third round two-over-par and had five birdies.
Rounding out the lineup was Matilde Innocenti who shot 14-over-par. Innocenti shot nine-over par in the third round.
Tulane returns to action on April 11 when they head to Thackerville, Oklahoma to participate in The Bruzzy.
