
Tulane Women’s Tennis Hits the Road to Face In-State Foe Louisiana-Lafayette Thursday

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University women's tennis team will visit in-state foe Louisiana-Lafayette on Thursday, March 3. The Green Wave enter the matchup with the Ragin' Cajuns with a 4-3 record on the season including going 3-0 against teams from the state of Louisiana.
Tulane is unbeaten against ULL in the series history holding a 7-0 advantage over the Ragin' Cajuns. The Wave holds a 2-0 record against ULL in matches played in Lafayette with the last win coming on March 7, 2020, 4-3. The last win for Tulane over the Ragin' Cajuns came on February 7, 2021, 7-0 in New Orleans. The Green Wave is 3-0 against ULL since the 2017-18 campaign under the helm of head coach Maria Brito.
Tulane enters the match with the Ragin' Cajuns following a 5-2 loss on the road to No. 13 Auburn on February 20. Louisiana-Lafayette comes in on a three-match win streak with the latest win coming over Prairie View A&M 4-3 at home on February 24.
Followings the match with the Ragin' Cajuns, the Green Wave will return to New Orleans to host Middle Tennessee on Wednesday, March 9. The match between Tulane and the Blue Raiders is set for 2 p.m. CT at City Park Tennis Center.
