Linn and Carmouche earn spots on the AAC Weekly Honor Roll
Apr 11, 2022 | Baseball
NEW ORLEANS – After a 5-1 start in conference play, Tulane University baseball lands two names on the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll. The AAC announced freshman Jackson Linn and Sophomore Dylan Carmouche along with the rest of the honorees on Monday.
Â
Linn earned a spot on the honor roll after he helped guide Tulane to a midweek win over Southern and a 2-1 series win over USF this past weekend at home. The Boston native led the Green Wave in batting last week, hitting .412 (7-17) with seven runs scored (lead the AAC), two doubles and five runs driven in. He had multiple hits in three out of four games last week.
Carmouche was named to the honor roll following a completely dominant performance on Saturday, leading Tulane to its second shutout of the year and picking up his fourth win. The Denham Springs, LA., native threw 7.0 innings, allowing no run on five hits and seven strikeouts.
