Wave Battles for Bell with Southern Miss on Saturday

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane and Southern Miss football programs will duel over the Bell once again on Saturday inside Yulman Stadium. Kick time is 6 p.m. CT and will air once again on ESPN+.

Jack Benjamin (play-by-play) and Brian Kinchen (analyst) will be back on the call. The duo also handled the broadcast duties for Tulane's win over UMass and Alcorn State.
Saturday's radio call along the Tulane Sports Network from Learfield will begin at 5 p.m. and will conclude roughly 45 minutes following the conclusion of the game. News Talk 99.5 WRNO will carry this broadcast. It can also be accessed via the Tulane Athletics and Varsity Network apps (both platforms are free). On satellite radio, the game can be heard on Sirius XM Channel 380 and 970.
The Green Wave and Southern Miss have met 32 times previously, with the Golden Eagles holding a 23-9 edge. Tulane has won four times in New Orleans but the two schools have never played in Yulman Stadium. The Green Wave has also won each of the last two matchups a 66-24 Hattiesburg, Mississippi contest on September 26, 2020 and a 30-13 decision in the 2020 Armed Forces Bowl on January 4, 2020.
