Scherer Claims the Individual and Doubles Titles at the Cajuns Classic

LAFAYETTE, LA- On the final day of the Cajuns Classic, the Green Wave claimed singles and doubles titles.
The doubles title was claimed by a Green Wave pair that consisted of Sam Scherer and Billy Suarez. The two defeated the University of Louisina's pair, 6-2.
Scherer also took home the flight two individual championship title. The Bradenton, Fla. native defeated Juan Accossatto of South Alabama , 6-1, 7-6 (2).
Alex Bancila claimed the runner-up title in the flight one singles competition.
Tulane men's tennis will be back in action Friday when they travel to Birmingham, AL to partake in the CBB invitational.
