
Green Wave Finishes 15th at ACC Open Championship

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Tulane University sailing landed in 15th-place out of 18 teams in the Atlantic Coast Open Championship on Sunday in St. Mary's City, Maryland.

The Green Wave finished with 324 total points through 14 complete rotations in the regatta. On Sunday, Tulane tallied 116 points in the final four rotations for each division.

Skipper Hamilton Barclay raced with crews Abigail Borggaard, Brady Starck, and CJ Ricci in the B Division to lead the Wave on the waters of the St. Mary's River. Tulane landed 11th in the B Division with 144 total points. In the A Division, the Green Wave finished 18th with 180 points behind the racing of skippers Thad Lettsome and Kelly Holthus with crews Gillian Perrell, Matheo Capasso, and Starck.

Up next, the Wave will travel to Austin, Texas, to compete for the SEISA Fall Open and Women's Fleet Race Championships on October 28-29.
