Golf Finishes the Jim West Challenge in 12th Place

SAN MARCOS, TX - Golf finished it's trip to San Marcos in 12th place at the Jim West Challenge hosted by Texas State.
Julia Sánchez Morales had the top overall score for Tulane, carding a 3-under par in the final round to end the Invitational tied for 34th place. Sánchez Morales also came in third for par-3s, scoring a total of two-under in the category. Cleo Liu finished tied for 47th after finishing 3-over par over three rounds. Tied for 53rd was Miriam Emmert, who carded two under par in the first round and finished at a total of 6-over par. Matilde Innocenti and Ruhee Pandit rounded out the scorecard for the Wave, coming in 62nd and tied for 65th, respectively.
Tulane finished with a total score of 877 (+13) for 12th place. No. 39 Southern Methodist led the entire tournament with a score of 826 (-38) after Mustang Ellie Szeryk won the individual title with a score of 200 (-16).
The Wave will return home for a quick two days before traveling to the Bahamas for White Sands, hosted by Santa Clara University.
