Tulane Beach Volleyball Pairs Compete at the AVCA Pairs National Qualifier

HUNTSVILLE, AL- The Green Wave women's beach volleyball team traveled to Huntsville to compete in the AVCA Pairs National Qualifier with hope of receiving a second bid to the AVCA Pairs Championship.

The Green Wave competed in single elimination bracket style play and mixed pool play on Saturday and Sunday.

Two Tulane pairs finished in 9th place in the bracket style play. The two pairs that competed for the Green Wave were; Tawny Ensign and Trinity Jackson, and Emily Heintzelman and Savka Popovic.

In the open division, Tulane picked up six wins in their mixed pairs.

The Green Wave will be back in Huntsville November 3-5 to compete in the AVCA Pairs Championships.
