
Beach Volleyball Unveils 2024 Schedule

NEW ORLEANS- The Green Wave Beach volleyball team announced its 2024 spring slate on Thursday. Tulane's schedule will feature eight regular season tournaments including three home tournaments hosted at White Sands Volleyball Courts.Â
After hosting an inter-squad scrimmage on Saturday, February 17, Tulane is set to officially open its season at home in the Green Wave Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, February 23-24.
The Olive and Blue will take the trip up Interstate 10 to Baton Rouge the following weekend to compete in the Tiger Beach Challenge. The tournament will be hosted by Louisiana State University on Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3.Â
Tulane will stay on the road for the remainder of March to compete in four different tournaments. They will start off heading to Fort Worth, Texas to compete in the Horned Frogs Challenge on March 8-9.Â
The following weekend, the Green Wave will compete in the Sugar Beach Bash hosted by Southeastern Louisiana University on March 15-16 in Youngsville, LA.
When Tulane University classes pause for spring break, the Green Wave beach volleyball team will head west to California to compete in two tournaments. On March 23-24, they will be in Los Angeles to compete at Loyola Marymount University in the PCH Invite. On March 27th, the Green Wave will wrap up their time in California at Northridge.Â
Tulane will return home to White Sands on April 6th when they take on cross-city rival, UNO in the Bayou Beach Duels.Â
The Green Wave's final road tournament will take them to Boca Raton, FL. The Owls of FAU will host Tulane on April 13-14.Â
Tulane wraps up their regular season hosting their Senior Day at the Nola Classic at White Sands in a two-day tournament on April 19-20.Â
Tulane will take part in the 2024 C-USA Beach Volleyball Championship for the second year in a row. The tournament will be held Thursday through Saturday, April 27-29.
The NCAA Championships are scheduled to begin on Friday, May 3rd, and run through Sunday, May 5, in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The Green Wave finished the 2023 season with a 24-10 record including going 7-1 in home matches.
