
No. 22 Bowling Goes 3-2 On the First Day of the Lady Techster Classic

Dallas, Texas – The No. 22 nationally ranked Tulane University bowling team went 3-2 on the opening day of the Lady Techster Classic at USA Bowl on Friday in totaling 4,872 pins.
The program sits in third place in a very competitive field. Tulane faced off with two ranked teams on the opening day.
The Green Wave posted a five-game average of 194.8. Tulane topped 1000 pins in three of the five matches.
The program started the day with a thrilling 1025-857 victory over No. 9 Louisiana Tech. The team earned the 1039-725 victory in the second game over Grambling State. The Green Wave fought hard in the third game before falling to No. 2 nationally ranked Vanderbilt by a 1086-1017 score. The team rallied in the fourth game for the 916-781 victory over Adelphi. The program lost the fifth and final game of the first day by a 941-875 score to Southern University.
The program has two baker and three traditional matches on Saturday starting at 11:15 a.m. The program takes on Saint Anslem in lanes 53-54 in the sixth match, No. 9 nationally ranked Sam Houston State in lanes 45-46 in the seventh match, No. 12 nationally ranked Louisiana Tech in lanes 49-50 in the eighth match, Grambling State in lanes 41-42 in the ninth match and No. 2 nationally ranked Vanderbilt in lanes 53-54 in the 10th match.
