Tulane Golf Returns to the Course at the Rivertowne Invitational

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane University golf team heads to Charleston, South Carolina to compete in the Rivertowne Invitational hosted by Charleston Southern University.
Playing at the Rivertowne Country Club, the three day 54 hole tournament will tee off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, have a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Monday and a 8:45 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.Â
The field consists of Longwood, North Alabama, Richmond, Seton Hall, UNC Asheville, Citadel, Winthrop, USCUpstate, Jacksonville, Morehead State, Western Carolina, FDU, Elon, Boston College, Lipscomb and Charleston Southern.Â
Tulane is the highest ranked in the field at 58 in the Golfstat team rankings.Â
No. 15 Carla Bernat, Miriam Emmert, Cleo Liu, Matilde Innocenti and Sandea Vazquez make up the Tulane lineup. Senior Hanna Liu also made the trip to compete as an individual.Â
Tulane is coming off a third place finish at the Tulane Classic presented by Chad Brownstein falling to Purdue and Incarnate Word. Bernat won the individual title, making it her third title of the year.Â
