Green Wave Set for Three Duals at SFA Invitational Friday

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Tulane University Beach Volleyball will visit the Lone Star State for its first road tests of the season as it will play three dual matches at the SFA Invitational hosted by Stephen F. Austin Friday.
The Green Wave will face Texas A&M – Kingsville once and play two duals against the host, Stephen F. Austin.
Tulane will begin the day against the Javelins of Texas A&M – Kingsville at 10 a.m. The Wave is 4-0 all-time against the Javelins including a 5-0 sweep last season at the LSU Tournament.
Next, the Wave will battle the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks twice. The first match is set to begin at 10 a.m. with the second set to follow immediately after at 12 p.m. Tulane has only faced the Lumberjacks once before winning 5-0 also at the LSU Tournament last season.
Tulane is coming off of a 3-1 weekend in the Green Wave Invitational. The Green Wave earned wins over New Orleans, North Alabama, and Nicholls.
Following the SFA Invitational, Tulane will head to Columbia, South Carolina to compete in the Carolina Challenge on Friday and Saturday, March 10-11.
