
Bowling To Have Three Participants in the Junior Gold Championships This Summer

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane's bowling team will be well-represented at the Junior Gold Championships this summer as the program is sending three to the greater Indianapolis area in Indiana to compete over the next two weeks.
Katharina Mente is set to compete in the U20 division that begins on Monday, July 10. The qualifying round starts at 3 p.m. The U20 Girls are being competed at Expo Bowl in Indianapolis.
Incoming recruits Emma Fetterman and Juanelyz Solla are bowling in the U18 division. Fetterman is in squad 19, while Solla is in squad 29. Their qualifiers start on July 17. Â The U15 Boys / U18 Girls are being competed at one of three locations (Championship Lanes in Anderson, Indiana; Strike Force Lanes in Greenfield, Indiana and the Woodland Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana).
BowlTV will provide livestream coverage from selected centers from July 10-22.

Centers with livestream coverage will include Western Bowl, Expo Bowl, Mike Aulby's Arrowhead Bowl, Championship Lanes and Strike Force Lanes.

The 2023-24 Tulane bowling team consists of Solla, Fetterman, Mente, Morgan Gitlitz, Yarelis Alvarez, Cassidy Williams, Sofiia Druchyna and Mia Stolakis
Earlier this summer it was announced that the Tulane bowling program is changing leagues and will now be a member of Conference USA starting with the 2023-24 campaign.
During the 2022-23 season, Gitlitz led the team with 7,992 total pins. Amelia Vasquez had the highest average on the squad at 195.8, while Stolakis recorded the highest individual performance with her 266 against UMES (10/15). Tulane sported an overall 71-51 record this season.
