Game Time Announced for Football vs. UAB

NEW ORLEANS – The kickoff time and network for Tulane football's home game next weekend, Sept. 30, at Yulman Stadium was announced on Monday by the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
The contest against UAB (1-2) is slated to begin at 11 a.m. and be shown live on ESPN2.
The game is the first time that Tulane and UAB have lined as conference rivals in the AAC and first meeting between the programs since 2021. All-time the Green Wave are 5-6 against UAB.
This season the Green Wave (2-1) leads the conference and rank seventh nationally with 12 sacks. The program is also tops in the conference and 10th in the nation with an average of 8.7 tackles for loss per game. The team also is second in the AAC with six turnovers gained. Tulane also leads the conference in passing yards per completion at 17.34. Individually, Jha'Quan Jackson leads the conference in punt returns at 14.2 per attempt. Jackson is also tops in the conference and ranks sixth in the nation with his four receiving touchdowns. His 230 receiving yards place him fifth in the league. Lawrence Keys III leads the league with his 266 receiving yards. Keys is also third in the conference in all-purpose yards per game (86.33). Patrick Jenkins is ranked third in the AAC with 1.5 tackles for loss per game. He is second in the conference in sacks with 3.5 sacks. Kameron Hamilton is placed third in the league with three sacks. Darius Hodges is sixth in the conference with 2.5 sacks. Valentino Ambrosio is second in the conference with five made field goals and 24 points. Makhi Hughes is placed fourth in the league with his 216 yards rushing.
Next the Tulane football team hosts Nicholls (0-2) on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. at Yulman Stadium.
