Dear Tulane Fans and Friends,
As noted in a few of my former communications, this is a time of enormous change in the collegiate athletics landscape. As we work diligently to provide our student-athletes a first class and transformative experience during their time at Tulane, I want to remind you of a piece that remains critical to their overall success, and our success as a department, as well.
While your direct support of our department, whether by purchasing tickets, giving to the Green Wave Club or joining the Olive & Blue Society remains critical to our growth and well-being, please remember that having a strong Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) collective is also critical to providing opportunities for our student-athletes.
A small group of trusted former student-athletes continue to manage the Fear the Wave Collective (FTW), which has been instrumental in providing our student-athletes with the opportunity to benefit from the personal brand they build as Tulane students.
I ask you to please visit www.fearthewavecollective.com and join the FTW Club as a monthly subscriber or www.ftwcollective.com to consider making a tax-deductible gift, both of which directly support and empower our student-athletes. You may also contact Deputy Athletic Director Jana Woodson (jwoodson@tulane.edu) for more information, as Jana works daily with the collective to ensure compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations.
Our student-athletes continue to excel on the field and in the classroom and we remain diligent in our resolve to compete for championships. All of our head coaches agree that NIL opportunities, particularly through Fear the Wave Collective, are imperative for future success, so please consider lending your support.
