
Bowling Finishes First Day of Fall Competition at Destination Orlando

ORLANDO – Tulane Bowling kicked off its fall season at the Destination Orlando tournament today, securing victories in three baker matches on the opening day of competition.
The Green Wave totaled 4,443 points over five matches and beat Daemen University 890 to 768, No. 2 Arkansas State 983 to 944, and Florida A&M 824 to 630.Â
Tulane currently sits in 18th place but will compete tomorrow in traditional format matches and attempt to regain some ground. They will first compete against Alabama State University tomorrow at 7:25 a.m. (CT), followed by Sacred Heart University, Wright State University, and Louisiana Tech. The Green Wave will close out the day against No. 4 Vanderbilt. On Sunday, Oct. 20, the Green Wave will end the tournament with a final matchup against Bryant University.
Jacksonville State currently sits in first, followed by Vanderbilt and Arkansas State. The Green Wave provided the third-place Arkansas State with its only loss of the day.Â
