SOUTH BEND, IN – Tulane's women's tennis team began its 2024-25 fall campaign by winning five matches over Illinois at the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday.

The Green Wave's Micah Pierce and Summer Chandler took the No. 2 doubles match 6-4 over Illinois' McKenna Schaefbauer and Kasia Treiber, while Tulane's Brooke Theis and Natalia Fantini knocked off Sofia Carvalho Rocha and Nicole Martinez 6-2.Â
