No. 13 Bowling Finishes Sixth at the Colonial Lanes Classic

HARAHAN – The No. 13 nationally ranked Tulane University bowling finished up the third day of the 2024 Colonial Lanes Classic in sixth place. The program ended the tournament with a 9-4 overall record and saw Emma Fetterman selected to the All-Tournament Team.
The team started the day falling to North Carolina A&T by a 4.5-2.5 score. The individual game scores were 211-171 (W), 174-136 (W), 213-213 (T), 225-182 (L), 224-149 (L), 226-179 (L) and 209-202 (L).
The Green Wave rallied to defeat Wichita State in the next round by a 4-3 count. The individual game scores were 181-160 (L), 232-191 (W), 160-153 (W),192-187 (W), 175-228 (L), 161-158 (L) and 211-202 (W). This was the second time in the tournament that Tulane had defeated a strong Shockers' team.
Tulane took on North Carolina A& T for the second time on the day in the third round and lost 4-0. The individual game scores were 204-174 (L), 197-188 (L), 215-212 (L) and 226-192 (L).
Following all the action on the day, Fetterman was named to the 2024 All-Tournament Team after finishing tied for second overall with 1,114 pins and an average of 222.80.
Tulane will next compete in the spring semester as the program heads to the Northeast Classic from January 17-19 in New Castle, Delaware in a tournament hosted by Sacred Heart.
