Men's Tennis Drops to #26 Princeton in Ed Collins Classic

San Diego, Calif. - Men's tennis dropped to #26 Princeton in a narrow 4-3 battle on Friday evening at the Ed Collins Classic.

The Wave came out swinging, besting Princeton on courts two and three to secure the doubles point advantage early on.

The Tigers struck first in singles on courts two and three to pull ahead for a short while before Fynn Kuenkler served a 6-4, 6-2 loss to Princeton's Landon Ardila on court four to tie up the tally at two-all. Princeton would take another point on court five and Rafa de Alba of the Green Wave would take the final point for Tulane on court six before the Tigers finished off on court one to secure the narrow 4-3 win.

The Wave will return on Saturday to play their second of three matches at the Ed Collins Classic against SDSU.
