Women's Tennis Wins Crosstown Showdown

The Wave got off to a strong start, with Yelamanchili/Borland completing a swift 6-2 victory on court one in just 28 minutes. The win was followed by another on court three via the tandem of Theis/Zhu, who dominated their opponent 6-1.
In singles, Tulane grabbed the second point on court five courtesy of Brooke Theis, who won a quick 6-2, 6-1 match. The Olive and Blue would sacrifice two points on courts three and two before Cora Barber carded the third point for the wave on court four after winning 6-3, 6-4. Finally, Lulu Zhu on court six completed an impressive 6-3, 6-1 win to secure the fourth and final point for the Wave.Â
Tulane will return to action on Friday to take on Jackson State.
