
Women's Tennis Drops to South Alabama

Mobile, Ala. - Tulane Women's Tennis (10-7) dropped to South Alabama (10-3) 4-1 on Wednesday.
The Green Wave was able to gain one win during doubles on court one as Yelamanchili.Borland beat the Jaguars duo of Dejnozkova/Pool 6-3, but the win fell short when courts two and three were stumped by the Jaguars to give South Alabama the doubles point.
After doubles, South Alabama continued their hot streak to take two straight singles matches to bring the tally to 3-0. Kristen Borland secured the first point of the day for the Wave as she downed her opponent 6-2, 6-7, 6-4, but shortly after the Jaguars would take their final point of the day to clinch the match.
The Green Wave will return home for their next match on April 7th, where the Olive and Blue will take on North Texas. The match will be preceeded by a ceremony to celebrate the five seniors on the squad.
