IRVING, Texas – Tulane's Irina Parau was named to the American Athletic Conference's (AAC) Weekly Honor Roll for the final week of action, the league office announced this afternoon.
In Tulane's 61-56 loss on Tuesday to Tulsa, Parau played well in scoring career-highs of 16 points and 14 rebounds. Her 14 rebounds topped her previous best of 13 rebounds against Tougaloo (12/28/22) and UCF (1/17/23). The game was her second double-double of the season.
She has now reached double figures in scoring eight times and led the team in rebounding in 12 games this season.

On the season, Parau is averaging 7.2 points per game and leads the club in both total rebounds (189) and rebounds per game (6.5).
Next, Tulane (10-19, 3-15 AAC), as the No. 14 seed, begins AAC Tournament play against No. 11 seed SMU (14-15, 8-10 AAC) on March 9 at 6 p.m. at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
