
Michael Eley Signs with Tulane

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University men's basketball announced the addition of Siena transfer Michael Eley to its 2024-25 roster. Eley will join the Green Wave this fall with two years of eligibility remaining.
Eley joins the Wave after spending two seasons with the Siena Saints. During his two seasons in Albany, New York, he appeared in 48 games making 16 starts and averaged 11.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. As a 6'4" guard Eley is an athletic wing with the ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor.
Last season for the Saints, Eley finished second on the team in scoring averaging 13.3 points in 19 games on 38.1 percent shooting including 23 made three-pointers.
As a freshman, the Fort Wayne, Indiana, native was named the MAAC Rookie of the Year and a unanimous MAAC All-Rookie Team selection after leading the Siena's second unit with 9.4 points and 2.9 rebounds in 29 games. Eley posted double figures 14 times including a pair of 20-plus point performances off the bench.
Prior to his two seasons at Siena, Eley spent his postgraduate year at Veritas Prep Academy in Florida where he averaged 25 points, six rebounds, and four assists and was named to the West Florida All-Tournament Postgraduate Team.
Eley also played three years of varsity at R. Nelson Snider before spending a season at Elevation Prep in 2020-21 in his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. During his prep career, he earned All-State and Junior All-Star Team selection as a junior after leading his team to a 4A Sectional title.
