Wave Gets Six Wins on First Day at Youngsville Hidden Duals

YOUNGSVILLE, LA – Tulane's men's tennis team registered a strong start to its weekend appearance at the Youngsville Hidden Duals, recording six victories on the competition's first day.
Against Tyler Junior College, Luka Petrovic and Vincent Vohl emerged victorious 6-2 over Alex Despojoa and Daniel Jankoski at No. 1 doubles. Asaf Friedler and Steven Rice followed with a win at No. 3 doubles 7-6 (8-6) over Daniel Borisov and Jacopo Cianfarini.
The Green Wave then secured four singles triumphs against Southern Miss, courtesy of Petrovic at No. 1, Friedler at 2, Luc Hoeijmans at 3 and Vohl at 5. Vohl's win came against William Jade of Louisiana, who filled in for the Golden Eagles.

On Saturday, the Olive and Blue opens with doubles against Southern Miss at 9:30 and singles against host Louisiana later in the afternoon.
