2018 (Sophomore): Started all 57 games in which he played…hit .225 with 10 doubles, one home run, 30 runs scored, 23 RBI, 27 walks and a .332 on-base percentage…had nine multiple hit games…named to American Athletic Conference Honor Roll (2/19)…recorded two hits, two runs, an RBI and two steals vs. Wright State (2/18)…recorded six hits, three RBI and three runs in the series vs. Cal State Fullerton (3/2-4)…hit his first career home run vs. CSF (3/4)…had three hits, three RBI, a double and a run vs. Purdue (3/10)…collected two hits, an RBI and a run at Wichita State (3/6)…went 1-for-2 with two walks, two RBI and a run vs. Houston (4/13)…hit an RBI single vs. LSU (4/18)…went 2-for-4 with two runs vs. ETSU (4/21; G1)…doubled home a run and scored twice in his home state at UConn (4/28)…was named to the Tulane Athletics 3.0 Club for spring 2018.

2017 (Freshman): Played in 49 games with 41 starts at shortstop…batted .211 with 17 runs, 31 hits, 23 RBI, six doubles, 15 walks, and five stolen bases…recorded a slugging percentage of .252 and an on-base percentage of .291…recorded six multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games…on defense, notched 64 putouts and 118 assists, second only to Jake Willsey…made his college debut in the season-opener at Air Force (2/18)…notched a double as a pinch hitter against Army (2/19)…went 1-1 with one run scored vs. West Virginia (3/3)…singled twice in three at bats at Nicholls State (3/15)…went 2-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double vs. Columbia (3/17)…went 2-3 with two RBI vs. Columbia (3/18)…notched a double and two RBI against Stetson (3/26)…went 2-4 with one RBI against New Orleans (4/4)…recorded a double and two RBI vs. UConn (4/14)…singled and walked twice for three RBI vs. Southern Miss (4/19)… recorded a career-high four RBI at Memphis (5/19)… off the field, was named to the 2016-17 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and the Tulane Athletics 3.0 Club for fall 2016.

High School: A four-year letterman at Mark T. Sheehan High School in Wallingford, Connecticut … played shortstop for the Titans … team captain his sophomore, junior and senior seasons … helped his team win the state title in 2015 … also led the team to the state semifinals as a senior, being named MVP after hitting .375 with 12 RBIs and 12 stolen bases … named First Team All-Connecticut as a senior as well as garnering First Team All-League honors as a sophomore, junior and senior … played summer ball with Goose’s Gamers and qualified for the Perfect Game Super 25 … also lettered twice in hockey, acting as a team captain his sophomore and junior years and receiving MVP honors his sophomore year after scoring the most points in a season.

Personal: Has a twin brother, Paul, who plays for UConn … father, Mauro, played six years in the major leagues for the Toronto Blue Jays, Cleveland Indians and New York Mets … major is finance.
