Brumbaugh Earns AAC Weekly Honorable Mention

IRVING, Texas – Tulane men's basketball redshirt sophomore Rowan Brumbaugh garnered American Athletic Conference weekly honorable mention on Monday after helping the Green Wave go 1-1 in league play last week.
Brumbaugh earned the honor after averaging 20.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals in the two-game slate for the Green Wave. The guard connected a 55.6 percent clip from the field and 58.3 percent from beyond the arc.
On January 15, the Washington, D.C., native tallied 20 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the floor including 3-of-5 from downtown against Florida Atlantic. Brumbaugh also made a career-high nine free throws while adding a pair of assists and a pair of steals in the 80-65 victory over the Owls.
Against Temple on January 19, Brumbaugh finished with a team-high 20 points and seven assists. In the road battle against the Owls, he also matched a career-best with five steals.
The Green Wave will be back in action on Saturday, January 25, in Houston against the Rice Owls. Tipoff between Tulane and Rice is set for 1 p.m. on ESPNU.
