
Swimming & Diving Defeats Little Rock 178-112

New Orleans – The Tulane swimming and diving team won all 16 events, totaled 23 top three individual finishes, 12 personal bests, set two school records and saw a pair qualify for the Zone D Diving Championships in earning a 178-112 victory over Little Rock on Saturday at the Reily Center Natatorium.
Maya Wilson set a pair of school records and personal bests in capturing victories in the 200 free (1:45.46) and the 100 free (48.50).
Anna Behrman was also a multiple event winner as she won the 3-meter dive (265.58) and the 1-meter dive (270.08). Both point totals were personal bests. Her 1-meter points was also a Zone qualifying mark. Teammate Kelsey Weddington also had a Zone qualifying mark (267.60) in earning second in the 1-meter dive.
Andrea Zeebe had victories in the 100 back (54.63), the 200 back (1:59.65) and the 200 IM (2:04.31).
Catherine Russo won the 50 fly (22.78) and the 100 fly (53.56).
Sydney Mullin won the 1000 free (10:13.04).
Paula Gaya Bisquerra won the 100 breast (1:03.48).
Varvara Gkiouzepa Petropoulou won the 200 fly (2:03.07).
Gwen Shahboz won the 200 breast (2:15.37).
Lise Coetzee won the 500 free (4:53.78).
The 200 medley relay team of Zeebe, Emma Brady, Russo and Wilson won their event (1:40.16).
The 400 free relay team of Russo, Olcaytu Hatipoglu, Rafaela Sumida and Wilson won their event (3:19.33).
Nest Tulane wraps up the home and regular season in hosting West Florida on Feb. 1 at 1:30 p.m. The 2025 AAC Swimming Championship will be held from Feb. 19-22 in Dallas, Texas at SMU.
