
Swimming & Diving Defeats West Florida 159-83 On Senior Day

Results
New Orleans – The Tulane swimming and diving team won all 13 events, totaled 22 top three individual finishes and achieved a Zone qualifying diving mark in earning a 159-83 Senior Day victory over West Florida on Saturday at the Reily Center Natatorium.  The program had two individual multi-event winners on the afternoon.
Andrea Zeebe won a pair of events with victories in the 200 free (1:52.67) and the 100 back (56.53).
Varvara Gkiouzepa Petropoulou earned wins in the 1000 free (10:15.55) and the 100 butterfly (57.34).
Anna Behrman won the 3-meter dive with a personal best point total (276.60). Her teammate, Paige McKenzie, won the 1-meter with a Zone qualifying total of 270.30.
The 200 medley relay team of Zeebe, Emma Brady, Maya Wilson and Catherine Russo started the swimming portion of the day with an event victory (1:43.44).
Olcaytu Hatipoglu earned the 50 free victory (23.90).
Gwen Shahboz picked up the 200 IM win (2:06.55)
Russo won the 100 free (51.83).
Sydney Mullin was the victor in the 500 free (5:01.44).
Paula Gaya Bisquerra earned the 100 breast victory (1:04.84).
The 200 free relay team of Russo, Hatipoglu, Lise Coetzee and Wilson finished the competition for Tulane by winning their event (1:35.03).
Nest Tulane heads to the 2025 AAC Swimming Championship held from Feb. 19-22 in Dallas, Texas at SMU.
