Tulane Sits Eighth in the Paradise Invitational

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Tulane golf got off to a solid start to its spring 2025 campaign on Monday finishing the day in eighth out of 15 teams in the field. The posted a 575 (-1) through the first two rounds of the tournament at the Osprey Point Golf Club.

The Wave opened the day with a 282 (-6) in the first round before shooting a 293 (+5) in the second round.

Gabriella Gilrowski led the way for Tulane on the 36-hole day to begin the tournament. Gilrowski ended Monday tied for eighth overall at -5 (140) after recording a 68 (-4) in her first round of the spring followed by a 72 (E) in the second round.

Next up on the leaderboard for the Green Wave were Matilde Innocenti, Tonka Zacharovska, and Francesca Pompa each carding a 145 (+1) to sit tied for 28th at the end of the first day. Innocenti's best round of the day came on the first 18 when she posted a 69 (-3) while Zacharovska recorded a 71 (-1) in her first round. Pompa rebounded for a strong second round finishing with a 71 (-1) to move up 18 spots on the leaderboard.

Rounding out the players in the field for the Wave was Sophia Yi-Ju Chen who landed tied for 73rd with a two-round total of 156 (+12).

Tulane will be back on the course for the third and final round of the tournament on Tuesday morning. The Wave will tee off in a shotgun start beginning at 7 a.m. CT.
