Bowlers Compete at USBC Sectionals

FORT WORTH – Tulane bowlers took part in the USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships this past weekend, held from March 8-9. Mia Stolakis, Emma Fetterman, and Juanelyz Solla headed to Fort Worth, while Paige Matiasek and Cassidy Williams competed in Addison, Ill.
Fetterman ranked 23rd out of 182, totaling 1208 pins and having three games over 200. Her highest count came in at 246 pins and was the highest of any Tulanian at the tournament.
Stolakis knocked down 1118 and had a high of 215. Solla racked up 1007 and maxed at 203.
Matiasek had a pin count of 1098 and also had a best game of 215. Williams secured 1008 and peaked with 190.
Next, the Wave will compete at the CUSA Championships, held at Colonial Lanes in Harahan, LA from March 19-23.
