
Transfer JoJo Moore Chooses the Wave

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University men's basketball program announced another addition from the transfer portal this week as JoJo Moore will join the team's roster for the 2025-26 campaign. Moore will join the Green Wave this fall with three years of eligibility remaining.

"JoJo is a versatile guard that will be able to play many different positions," Head Coach Ron Hunter said. "He is a playmaker and dynamic in the open court."

Moore, a 6'4" guard, spent last season at Oral Roberts where he made 28 appearances including 18 starts. The Leander, Texas, native averaged 10.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 27.6 minutes per game during his lone season with the Golden Eagles.Â

As a freshman with Oral Roberts, Moore scored in double figures in 14 games including back-to-back performances with at least 20 points. He tallied a season-high 26 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the floor and 8-of-11 from the free throw line in a victory over North Dakota on January 11. Moore posted one double-double for the Golden Eagles with 14 points and 12 boards against South Dakota on January 16. He also registered 19 games with multiple assists including a season-best five assists three times.

Moore was a three-star recruit out of Rouse High School according to 247Sports before he stepped on campus for Oral Roberts. During his senior season he averaged 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists. In his prep career, Moore racked up numerous accolades including 5A All-State, TABC Region 4 All-Region, and District MVP.
