HOOVER, AL – Tulane's women's tennis team faced off in a neutral site match against North Texas and emerged with a 4-0 win on Saturday at the Hoover Met Tennis Center.

The Green Wave improved to 7-6 overall with the win, while the Mean Green fell to 9-5.

Campbell Ricci and Summer Chandler won their third consecutive decision at No. 1 doubles (6-1) and Micah Pierce and Leigh Van Zyl clinched the opening team point with a 6-4 triumph at No. 2.

Chandler (No. 2), Pierce (No. 5) and Natalia Fantini (No. 6) all secured straight set singles wins. Fantini's 6-4, 6-2 match proved to be yet another clincher for the Merida, Mexico native.

Tulane is next scheduled to play UAB Sunday at noon. The Blazers are 4-7 this year following a 4-3 loss to North Texas on Friday.
