Green Wave Finishes Out Season at the American Championships

TULSA, OKLA. - No. 9 seed Tulane's men's tennis team fell 4-1 to No. 49 Rice, the top seed in the American Conference Championships, on Friday morning.
The Owls improved to 14-7 on the season, while Tulane finished at 8-11.
Daniel Phillips (6-1, 6-2) secured Tulane's lone point with a win at the No. 1 position over No. 53 Petro Kuzemenok.
Rice claimed the doubles point with a win from No. 57 ranked pair of Petro Kuzmenok and Santiago Navarro at the No. 1 position, followed by a 6-3 victory at No. 3.
The match concludes the 2026 season for the Green Wave. Tulane will return to the courts in the fall for the 2026-27 season, with dates to be announced.
