Morris Named to CUSA All-Academic Team

DALLAS – Conference USA announced today its 2026 beach volleyball all-academic team with Tulane graduate student Emma Morris recognized.

Morris is a native of Haymarket, Virginia, and she is one of 10 players in the league to secure a spot on the CUSA All-Academic Team. She is in her first season with the Green Wave, transferring to Uptown after spending the last four years at Stanford University. Morris graduated with a degree in computer science, focusing on human-computer interaction. She is currently working on her MBA at Tulane and boasts a 3.92 GPA. This is her first CUSA Academic All-Conference selection but not her first CUSA academic honor, as earlier this year she received both the CUSA Commissioner's Academic Medal and a nod to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

On the season, Morris is 20-11 with 10 wins each at the No. 1 and No. 2 flights. She boasts three ranked victories this season, topping No. 15 FAU, No. 19 Washington, and No. 20 Arizona earlier this morning.

Tulane is currently in action this weekend, hosting the NOLA Classic at White Sands Volleyball Courts. The Green Wave will face ULM at 1:30 p.m. and New Orleans at 4:00 p.m. later today with both duals streaming on ESPN+. Tomorrow's action will be senior day for the Wave, with the festivities beginning at 8:00 a.m. when Morris and her five fellow seniors will be honored.
