NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane swimming and diving team officially gets back in the pool as the program hosts the Olive & Blue Scrimmage on Friday, Sept. 24, starting at 2 p.m. at the Reily Center Natatorium. The event is open to the public so fans can get a sneak preview of the program in action before next week's start of the regular season.
The format has been altered this season as the squad will be divided among three teams (White, Blue, and Green) and all swimmers will compete in a pentathlon (50 fly, 50 back, 50 breast, 50 free, and 100 IM). The winning team will have the lowest average swim time overall.
The divers will be competing in three dives on each board for a total of six dives. Each round of three dives will consist of the two required dives and one optional. The divers must cover all five groups of dives. The winners will be based on the highest combined score.

The White team will be comprised of Nicole Fant, Marin Shimkus, Lieve Geelen, Casey Freeman, Libby Brewer, Emma Barr, Paula Gaya Bisquerra, Eliza Lennox, and Maddie Emment.
