Career Notes: Four-year letterman ran twice for three yards and caught 11 passes for 40 yards during his career...played in 42 games with nine starts.
2011: Saw action in all 13 games with a pair of starts as a senior...caught three passes for seven yards...helped block for an offense that averaged 126.3 rushing and 214.0 passing yards per game...also a key contributor on special teams...had single-catch performances vs Syracuse (10/8), vs Houston (11/10) and at Rice (11/19)...off the field, was a member of Tulane[apos]s 3.0 Club.
2010: Played in 10 games as a junior...did not record an offensive touch but helped pave the way for teammate Orleans Darkwa to set a Tulane freshman record with 925 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, including five 100-yard games...also a key contributor of special teams.
2009: Saw action in 10 games at fullback as a sophomore...used primarily as a blocker, but did carry once for no gain and caught two passes for nine yards on the year...helped pave the way for teammate André Anderson to post a 1,000-yard rushing season and surpass the 100-yard plateau four times...had an 11-yard reception at SMU (11/28) and caught a pass for a two-yard loss vs UTEP (11/7)...lone rushing attempt came at Rice (11/14).
2008: Played in nine games as a true freshman, including six starts at fullback...finished the year with six receptions for 24 yards...also tallied one carry for a three-yard gain vs Rice (10/25)...caught a career-best two passes at UTEP (10/11) and at Houston (11/8)...had a career-high 19 receiving yards against the Miners...also had single-reception games vs SMU (9/25) and vs Rice.
High School: Three-year letterman at St. Thomas More High for coach Jim Hightower...helped lead the Cougars to three consecutive District 3-5A titles, a 42-11 overall record, three state playoff semifinals and one regional...as a senior, claimed honorable-mention all-district honors after running for 125 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries and hauling in one pass for another seven yards through the air...ran for over 151 yards and six touchdowns on 40 carries while catching four passes for 31 yards as a junior...also lettered in baseball where he earned all-district honors as a junior...off the field, won the Physical Education Academic Award.
Personal: Born Kasey Edmond Stelly on Oct. 3, 1989, in Lafayette, La...son of Ken and Diane Stelly...has one brother, Kyle, and one sister, Kamryn...father, Ken, played baseball at Northwestern State and spent time with the New York Mets organization...completed his degree in sociology in May 2012.
