2008 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in nine games... registered seven tackles (five solo)... had career-best two stops at Tulsa... did not play against Army, UTEP or Rice.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterman where he saw time at linebacker and fullback for coach Lydell Wilson... led the Mustangs to a combined 37-4 record in his final three prep seasons, including three straight District 24-4A titles, and area championship as a sophomore, a regional title as a junior and the state championship as a senior... earned first-team all-district honors at linebacker as a sophomore, junior and senior... claimed District Defensive MVP and second-team all-state honors as a senior after tallying 111 tackles (64 solo, 47 assists)... claimed honorable-mention all-state recognition as a junior when he posted 110 tackles (62 solo, 48 assists) and six interceptions... also lettered in track and field... off the field, was voted Homecoming Prince as a junior and Homecoming King as a senior.
