HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year letterman at Westside High for coach Bill Wilson... helped the Wolves go a combined 22-3 over his final two prep seasons, including winning a share of the District 21-5A title each year... as a senior, earned honorable-mention all-district recognition and first-team Academic All-State honors... also earned one letter in basketball... off the field, was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Majoring in cell and molecular biology... born Adam Gabriel Podet on Oct. 8, 1987, in Houston, Texas... one of three children of Ethan Podet and Irene Wolski... has one brother and one sister... named to the Conference USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll and a member of Tulane[apos]s 3.0 Club in 2009.
