Prep: A two-year letterwinner at Jesuit High School in New Orleans, La....pitched while also playing third base and shortstop...earned 5A-All State honors as a right-handed pitcher during his senior campaign in which he went 10-1 with a 1.20 ERA in 75 innings pitched...also earned 5A New Orleans All-Metro and 9-5A All-District honors as a senior...hit .322 as a senior while helping the Blue Jays to an appearance in the state semi-finals and an overall record of 34-6.
