2002 Outdoor: Posted a season-best time of 16:44.07 in the 5,000-meter run at the Southern Miss Invitational (3/9), where he took fifth place.

2001 Cross Country: Ran in four races for the Green Wave. Finished 27th in the three-mile Tulane Invitational at 16:23.

2001 Outdoor: Ran the 5,000 for the Green Wave, posting a personal-best time of 17:01.50.

2000 Cross Country: Ran in five meets for the Green Wave. Finished 21st at the Ragin? Cajun Invitational, completing the four-mile course in a time of 23:25.6.

Prep: A 2000 graduate of Brother Martin High School. Lettered in track and cross country, as well as two years of basketball. An all-district and all-metro selection in cross country. Earned a 12th-place finish in the 1999 state championship. Also collected All-State Academic honors. Helped his team to back-to-back state championships.

Personal: Born December 11, 1981 in Kenner, La. The son of William and Lynn Gallagher. Majoring in communications. Has two brothers, including an older brother (Bill) who played baseball for Loyola University.
