AS A SENIOR (2004-05)
OUTDOOR: Successfully made the conversion from the 200 and 400 to the 800-meter run, posting a personal record of 2:11.96 in her final race at the C-USA Championships (5/14) to finish fourth in the finals of the event. Also helped the Wave[apos]s 4x400 team to third place and a spot in the NCAA Regionals with a time of 3:39.26 at the league championships. Team earned 10th place at the regional championship. Also added a PR in the 400 with a time of 56.85 at the LSU Relays (3/26). INDOOR: Helped the Wave[apos]s 4x100 relay team to eighth place while finishing 14th in the 800-meter run at the C-USA Championships (2/25). Her top 800-meter time was 2:15.22 at the Armory Invitational (2/5).

OUTDOOR: Earned all-conference honors in the 4x100 relay while also helping the Wave[apos]s 4x100 team to a time of 45.88, second-best in school history, at the Hurricane Invitational (4/10). Posted her careerbest 200 time of 24.98 at the LSU Alumni Gold meet (4/16). Also notched her top 400 time of 57.55 at the C-USA Championships (5/14). INDOOR: Helped the Wave to third place in the distance-medley relay and fourth place in the mile relay at the Conference USA Championships. Notched a career-best time of 25.72 in the 200-meter dash at LSU Twilight Invitational (2/20).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2002-03)
OUTDOOR: Scored in a pair of relays at the C-USA Championships, helping the Wave to sixth in the 4x100 and seventh in the 4x400. Tulane[apos]s top 400-meter runner with a career-best time of 57.65 at the Southern Miss Invitational (4/18). Recorded a personal-best time of 25.06 in the 200-meter dash at the Tiger Twilight Classic (5/4). INDOOR: The top 400-meter runner for the Wave. Competed in five meets. Posted a season-best 400 time of 57.87 at the Tyson Invitational (2/15).

AS A FRESHMAN (2001-02)
OUTDOOR: Competed in four outdoor meets for the Wave. Ran her season-best time of 25.51 in the 200 at the C-USA Championships (5/10). INDOOR: Sprinted in four meets for the Green Wave. At the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational (1/26), ran an 8.07 in the 60 meters. Her season-best 200-meter time of 26.25 came at the LSU Twilight Invtiational (2/15), while she logged a 59.74 time in the 400 meters at the Razorback Invitational (2/1).

A 2001 graduate of Lincoln High School. Helped her school[apos]s track team to the city and league championship. Earned all-county honors for four years. Placed second in the state in the 55-meter dash.

Full name is Tahira Kasai Wiggins. Born January 3, 1983 in White Plains, N.Y. The daughter of Marlin and Denise Wiggins. A high honor roll student at Lincoln. Earned her degree in psychology from Tulane in May of 2005. Named to the C-USA Academic Honor Roll for 2001-02 and 2004-05.
